AERIAL DRIP IRRIGATION
WITHOUT DRS
Irrigation with an overhead drip system performs its main function of watering the crop.
The water and fertilizers practically reach the surface and moisten part of the subsoil. Apart from that, a lot of water is lost through evaporation, displacement due to possible wind.
If you want to reach a greater depth of moisture, more irrigation time is required, which means more economic cost in water and fertilizers.
AERIAL DRIP IRRIGATION
WITH DRS
If DRS is installed, water and fertilizers reach the subsoil and roots directly.
The subsoil is kept moist, feeding the roots with the necessary water and fertilizers.
Total irrigation times are reduced, up to 50-75% less water and fertilizers are used, in addition to drastically reducing weed growth.
